Student Agreement

Everyone taking classes or lessons at the studio must follow these guidelines. You may not bring anyone else into the studio at any time without paying admission, this includes: friends, spouses, and children.

  1. Class tuition fee covers admission for one (1) person, unless noted otherwise in class description. Date Night is admission for two people.
  2. There will be no refunds or pro-rating options for missed classes. Enrollment fees cannot be carried into subsequent terms.
  3. Any items left uncompleted at the end of a class or six-week course will be forfeited by the student and discarded.
  4. Any glaze-fired pottery waiting to be picked-up that are left in the studio past three (3) months from your last class will be discarded.
  5. Each student is responsible for cleaning their space at the end of each class.
  6. Clay dust can be hazardous! it is important that you use wet sponges for clean up, do not create dust by sweeping or using dry rags.
  7. All students must bring their own towel/apron to classes.
  8. Student may visit the studio during open hours once (1) per week to practice or catch-up if a class was missed due to personal illness. Additional fees will apply if extra studio time is needed.
  9. Due to the nature of clay, items may crack and/or explode in the kiln. Instructors will inform you if your individual work is at an elevated risk of being damaged or destroyed in the kiln firing.
  10. When paying to have your work kiln-fired, and items included in class tuition; you accept all risks. Kiln payments and tuition fees are non-refundable.

How many kiln-fired items are included with tuition?
Six-Week Class: Up to 6 items per person. Size restrictions apply, 1-pound clay or 4 cubic inches per item max.
Date Night: 1 item per person. Size restrictions apply, 1-pound clay or 4 cubic inches per item max.
Workshop: Varies. Please read class description for details.
