Description:
AA Clay Studio is a community ceramics workspace that supports artists at any stage in their career within the Louisville and surrounding areas. Our residency program is built on this spirit of community. As part of AA Clay Studio, residents will have the opportunity to interact with members, network and grow their community of peers, and learn about what’s going on in the Louisville clay community. The year long residency provides: 24 hr. studio access, large private storage area, use of studio glazes, discounted material fees, technical guidance when needed to grow your artistic practices, and paid teaching opportunities. By combining community studio space with a work-trade component, this residency program provides a valuable opportunity for serious artists to immerse themselves in their practice and build a sustainable artistic career.
