Due to the nature of clay, items may crack and/or explode in the kiln. Instructors will inform you if your individual work is at an elevated risk of being damaged or destroyed in the kiln firing.

• Items must be picked-up 4 weeks after the date of your last class, lesson, or event. As a courtesy, we may notify students when pottery is ready for pickup. If you have not received an email notification five weeks after the end of class, please come and pick up your work. If artworks are not picked-up within a 3 month time frame, all items may be destroyed.
• When paying to have your work glazed and fired, you accept all risks. Kiln payments are non-refundable.

Artwork:
Clay Camp provides your child with the experience of working with clay. Campers will have the opportunity to create several works of art. We strongly urge all students to follow our recommendations for forming, joining and glazing their work to obtain good results. If proper techniques are not followed clay can crack, break, slump, and irregular glaze covering can result.
• We do not provide refunds for artworks that are destroyed in the dry, kiln, or glazing process.
• All items must be picked up about 3-weeks after campers last day. As a courtesy, we notify parents when campers’ work is ready for pickup. If you have not received an email notification three weeks after the end of camp, please come and pick up their work.

Medical Information:
All parents/guardians must complete the Camp Registration Form. This information is meant to help each camper have the best possible experience. On this form there is a section for parents/guardians to write down any health, learning, or behavioral conditions in which AA Clay Studio should be made aware.
• If your child requires an Epi-pen or inhaler we will ask you to provide a labeled Epi-pen or inhaler for the week. You will also be asked to fill out our Emergency Action form at registration. Please note that we do not administer any other medication. In event of an emergency, we will contact 911 and then the guardians listed on the Health and Permission form.

Accessibility:
AA Clay Studio is committed to providing a safe and educational experience for all campers. If you are interested in enrolling or have enrolled a camper with special needs, please contact us at contact@aaclay.com or (502) 287-9666 to discuss the specific needs of your child and strategies that would ensure that your child has the most engaging experience possible.
